Ascending composition one (For planes) (2019)
Ascending Composition was comprised of a kite tail sound system which broadcast a terrestrial soundscape made of field recordings taken in London to planes. The kite tails were lifted using helium balloons. The work formed part of the AirMatters group show which was exhibited at Waterman's Gallery, London from October 2019 to January 2020.
Waterman's is located under the Heathrow Airport flight path and the exhibition responded to this location.
